Hello Everyone,
Not many posts from me recently as things have been a bit busy on the crafting front so instead of not keeping in touch with you I thought I would show you some of the samples I made for Kay Halliwell-Sutton IndigoBlu show on Hochanda 24th & 25th September.
The House of Memories are such fun to decorated. I used the New 12"x12" damaged dots papers, Postbox red paint and the New Shrink Plastic.
These are the Family Tree storage boxes which can be used for Christmas as I have done, but they can be used in different ways throughout the year.
Martin helped me with this design by drilling holes in each of the sections so that I could pass a pole through the middle so that each section can be turned around so you can get different views of it!
I decorated the outside of the boxes with the New 12"x12" papers Damaged Damask, Christmas stencils and Gold Luscious Powder mixed in with Embossing paste. The front sections were filled with Baubles & Bells then covered with thick acetate which I had stenciled on.
This Triptych was fun to decorate. I haven't done one before so wasn't really sure what to do so started off with painting then covering it with papers and using a stencil and paste to get a icicle look at the top.
I used several of the new Christmas stamps, stamped them out onto card then painted in the images.
Again these are not just for Christmas. They could be used for lots of any other occasions. I think the next one I will decorate will be a secret garden!
Here are a few ideas for Christmas cards and a Christmas place setting. All using the New Christmas Stamps and Papers.
Cheerio for now, will be back soon xx
